This Monday, I delivered “Top Secret” letters from some very special local wildlife characters, each facing a unique STEM engineering dilemma.
Our junior scientists will be tasked with solving problems for:
• Syd the Red Squirrel 🐿️
• The one and only Justin Beaver 🦫
• Hamish the Hedgehog 🦔
From mastering the physics of raft building and dam construction to designing the ultimate wildlife habitat, the students will be getting hands-on with natural materials in the great outdoors.
It’s the perfect blend of biology, maths, and problem-solving. 📐⚒️
Beyond the building projects, The teachers will be diving deep into:
✅ Animal diets and local habitats
✅ Conservation and how we can protect our native species
While Boosting wellbeing of the students with much needed fresh air and sunshine!
